This afternoon, we watched this Crime Comedy Action Thriller on Prime Video.
"When Ashley and her young daughter Sarah get caught up in a criminal enterprise that puts their lives at risk, she turns to her estranged father Matt, currently living the life of a retired beach bum in the Cayman Islands.
Their reunion is fleeting as they are soon tracked down on the island by crime boss Donnie and his lieutenant Bobo. As Ashley, Sarah and Matt become entangled in an increasingly dangerous web, Ashley quickly learns her father had a secret past that she knew nothing about and that there is more to her father than meets the eye."
This is a very good and quirky action comedy with Cage at his best!
The location shots of the Cayman Islands where the film was shot was beautiful.
The cast were brilliant and the movie had some great actors in the likes of Cage, Ron Perlman, Jackie Earle Haley, Ernie Hudson, and Grace Byers.
The grumpy old man humour of Cage, Perlman, and Hudson was brilliant.
I highly recommend this film and I will watch this again.
I shall rate this movie a score of 8/10.
