ALONE IN THE DARK

 Last night, I watched "Alone in the Dark" a 2005 action horror film on Prime Video.

This film has been dubbed the worst film ever! and I disagree as there are plenty more that are far worse.

it stars Christian Slater, Tara Reid, and Stephen Dorff as paranormal investigators who combat a supernatural threat. The film's story is a loose adaptation of the game Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare (2001)

The movie was panned for it's story, dialogue, special effects, and Reid's performance. But I actually thought the story premises was actually interesting that can be adapted for my own stories.

Tara Reid's acting ability is not that brilliant, but what do you expect from her? she is not a world class actress but she does her best.

The special effects were naff and some of the story did not make any sense and some scenes jumped around without any reason.

Slater was good as always and Dorff was good at shouting orders at his military soldiers.

The ending made no sense, maybe it does if you played the game for which I have not.

Overall, this was a Uwe Boll movie who has a history of making adaptations of computer games and well done to him for doing this.

This should be remade with a bigger budget and better cast list.

I enjoyed it and I will rate this mess a score of 6/10.
