This afternoon, we watched this action thriller movie on Prime Video.
"Nero, a former special forces agent, has moved to a quiet beach town to raise his son, but when his son is kidnapped, he receives a phone call from an unknown man that orders him to wipe out three dangerous crime syndicates of highly-skilled criminals and kill each and every one of them if he wants to see his son alive again.
He only has 5 hours to complete his mission or his son is lost forever."
This is a damn good action packed and clever film that has the legends of Scott Adkins and Mario Van Peebles.
This is not your typical martial arts film that Adkins normally does, but a rather intelligent action gunplay type movie, he only uses his fighting skills a couple of times in this.
The storyline was brilliant and it had quite a few POV shooting scenes that looks liked it came from Call of Duty.
Mario makes a great respectable and honourable bad guy with a good sense of humour, and Adkins is a great intelligent hero with a snarky but intelligent son.
This has now become part of my Top 10 Adkins films ever, and I will watch this again!
I shall rate this flick a score of 9/10.
