Last night, I watched this action thriller western on Prime Video.
"A gun-slinging Texas Ranger tracks a bank robber across the American desert - only to discover he's an IRA international terrorist set on detonating a dirty nuke in the heart of London. When the lawman's partner is killed, he is drawn into partnership with a British intelligence agent and her boss to bring the outlaw to justice - dead or alive."
Thomas Jane stars as the fish out of water Texas Ranger wandering around the heart of London, as he takes down IRA terrorists and other criminals in his hunt for his fugitive.
Dominique Tipper was great as the British MI6 agent, assigned as Jane's partner as they both bond in their journey to bring the terrorist to justice.
John Malkovich was however very unconvincing as the boss of the MI6 and he had a weird accent, more like French than British or American.
The writer and director, Jesse V. Johnson did a great job with this movie, and if you know his previous work, he always delivers.
The IRA terrorist played by Dean Jagger was alright except he did make quite a few mistakes in his bloody revenge against the British.
As I grew up during the Troubles between Britain and Ireland and I had connections with the IRA, his performance could have been better.
All the action scenes and gunplay were really brilliant and the stunt work were good too.
I highly recommend this low budget action movie.
I shall rate this film a score of 7/10.
