Last night, I watched this American War film on Prime Video.
"A US Army special forces unit is ambushed during a mission to retrieve an intelligence asset and their only remaining hope lies with a remote Air Force drone operator assisting them through a brutal 48-hour battle for survival."
Despite being an American film, with an American director, American studio, and a cast of American characters, there is only one American actor in the lead cast. All other actors are Australian or British.
The cast of actors were pretty good - You had Liam Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, Luke Hemsworth, Ricky Whittle, and Milo Ventimiglia.
Crowe was brilliant in his performance as the lone drone operator who does not get a chance to work with the other cast members.
Liam is the main hero of the film, as he struggles through the jungle on a rescue mission.
The action scenes were really good and the movie was your typical Gung-Ho American war film.
My only bugbear with this movie is that the soldiers at the drone operators base were all useless and unprofessional, they were just interested in a Basketball match on the TV instead of doing their work.
I shall rate this film a score of 6/10.
