JACKDAW

Last night, I watched this low budget British action thriller on Netflix.

"Set in Hartlepool in the North-East of England, over the course of a single night. The film follows a former motocross champion and army veteran who has fallen on hard times and he is now caring for his brother who has Downs Syndrome. He accepts a job to collect an illegal package in the North Sea but a resulting double cross and his brother's disappearance set him and his old motorbike on a violent nocturnal odyssey through England's northern urban wilderness."
This is a very low budget, moody urban action film with some decent dance music and writing as our hero teams up with a scallywag with a secret as they search for the person responsible for the kidnapping of Jack's brother and the man who betrayed him.
The acting was brilliant with a cast featuring Oliver Jackson-Cohen,
Jenna Coleman and Thomas Turgoose.
I liked the fact that the movie was not set in London as most of these films usually are.
I shall rate this film a score of 6/10.
