86 years ago In 1937, Aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart and navigator Fred Noonan disappeared over the Pacific Ocean during a flight.
Never to be seen again, many theories on their disappearance have been reported over the years, like being shot down by the Japanese, crashed on one of the many islands in the Pacific Ocean, and even been abducted by Aliens flying around in their UFO's.
Some wreckage was discovered but discounted by the American military.
