(((TRIGGER WARNING)))
Excuse the photos but this is important to me.
"10 years ago today, I had my right leg amputated above the knee. I had an epidural so I was semi awake but couldn't see anything, I could however feel some of the pain tho! I went into surgery at 16:50, and got back to my room at 23:30. Candy was allowed to stay and wait in my room for me, to make sure I was alright. I was still very groggy but I had a big smile on my face when I saw her. My phantom pain levels are still bad, I still have a very basic old wheelchair, and no prosthetic legs as I've been told that I will never get any. So I'm still angry and very depressed a lot of the time, and well that's it. Next month will be the 10th anniversary of getting my left leg amputated as well."
These photos are from my stay in the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton. (September time)
