The film is inspired by the Chinese ancient masks of Sanxingdui, and tells the story of a contemporary American teenager who is magically transported back in time to a mysterious, lost city, where he teams up with heroes from various eras and cultures (including Atlantis) that wear the magical masks to become the city's heroes!
The film stars the voice talents of Ron Perlman, Patton Oswalt, Byron Mann, and Christopher Plummer in his last role.
It was a really good film with decent animation and the story was decent, but with a few plot holes, but I did not mind. It had the feel for a pilot of a series and I think it should have been one instead of a movie of 1hr28mins length time.
I shall rate this movie a score of 7/10.
I have since added a number of animated films from Arcana Studios now to my watchlist.
