I've never ever seen this before, so I'm only 21+ years late!
I've read the original novel "Treasure Island" when I was a kid, plus I've watched countless TV and Film adaptations on Telly.
This was rather unique, set in outer space with Aliens and Cyborg Pirates. The concepts were very good.
The voice cast did a good job and the animation was top notch.
It's a shame the film bombed but the other films at the cinema did better (LOTR, etc).
I shall rate this adventure a score of 10/10.
