AMERICAN BORN CHINESE

This afternoon, we finished watching this action fantasy series on Disney+ which was based on a graphic novel series of the same name.
The series and graphic novel is inspired by the Legend of the Monkey King and incorporating elements from Chinese folk tales and mysticism found in the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West."
I have always been a huge fan of the Monkey King, ever since watching the 70's TV series "Monkey" on BBC One when I was a kid.
This series is full of martial arts action, comedy, and family drama.
The cast is incredible as is the story.
I will give this a 10/10 rating, I really do hope this series will get renewed for a second season.
