OUTLAW KING

Last night, I watched this historical action drama film about 14th-century Scottish King Robert the Bruce during the Scottish Wars of Independence. The film largely takes place during the 3-year period from 1304, when Bruce decides to rebel against the rule of Edward I over Scotland, up to the 1307 Battle of Loudoun Hill.
Robert the Bruce is played by American actor Chris Pine, and he did an okay job in the role.
The movie is good but it is slow in parts. The action scenes and the battles were very bloody realistic. and the production design, sets, performances and choreography were really good.
The Scottish scenery was beautiful and very majestic.
I shall rate this film a score of 6/10, it could have been better!
