This afternoon, we finished watching this supernatural horror detective comedy-drama television series on Netflix, loosely based on the comic book series of the same name.
This is also a spin-off from "The Sandman" also shown on Netflix.
"Two young boys - Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine decided not to enter the afterlife to stay on Earth and investigate crimes that involve the supernatural, as the Dead Boy Detectives."
The actors who play the boys did a wonderful job in their roles and they had good chemistry with each other. The actress who plays their friend Crystal Palace was slightly annoying but everyone else in the show including the guest stars were brilliant, but the outstanding actress for me was Ruth Connell as Night Nurse, a trans-dimensional being from the Lost & Found Department in the Afterlife. She is famous for playing Crowley's mother, Rowena on Supernatural.
The stories were all very good and the mysteries were well written and at times creepy! There was a couple of plot twists that I never saw coming which was good and a surprise.
I enjoyed this show, but please let's have a straight white actor in a show! It's all about the Gay Agenda these days!
Anyway, I shall rate this show a score of 6/10.
