This afternoon, we watched the second of the non-specials for the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who.
What a load of shit that was! Shit storyline with shit "Monsters" aka alien doubles of the Doctor and Donna, who have got to be the most annoying companion ever! Even Clara was a far better companion, this middle aged chav is so annoying, that I would have kicked her off the TARDIS the first time I would get if I was the Timelord.
RTD actually said in an interview that this would be very scary! I was bored to hell with this crap.
There are so many question left unanswered about this episode, like how did the pilot end up in space and turned into a skeleton as that does not happen.
And what the fuck is it with changing historical figures like this? They has a cameo from Isaac Newton which was played by a mixed race queer actor, why are they changing the ethnic origins of all British historical characters? Fucking stupid and fucking disrespectful of the actual person in question, no wonder children these days get confused by who is who in history!
And I am still pissed off with David Tennant's 14th Doctor, or should I say his 10th as he is the same bloody annoying character as he was years ago. The guy can act, if you want to change the 14th, then let him speak his native Scottish tongue, change his hair style, get him wearing something different than the same bloody suit and sandshoes as he did during his 10th era, even change his outlook on things, and maybe make him slightly more dangerous?
The only decent thing about the episode was the ending and that was the final appearance of Bernard Cribbins as Wilf, who passed away before any more scenes could be filmed.
He is a Legend and will be missed.
I shall rate this story a score of 2/10 and those two points are for Cribbins.
