An extended movie length edition of the four part story from 1989 starring the 7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and his companion Ace (Sophie Aldred) These two were my favourite team from the classic era of Doctor Who.
The story starts off with the Doctor and Ace meet again and remember their battle against an ancient evil in World War II where a Viking curse is bringing the dead back to life.
This is one of my all time favourite 7th Doctor's storylines and this edition with the beginning and ending bookends of the two characters who are a lot older was brilliant as it offered an insight into their friendship.
I will rate this special as 10/10.
