It stars Josh Lucas as an oil rig inspector who takes his family on vacation and to visit a run down rig that he is going to inspect the safety of the place, they then find themselves trapped as the place is falling apart and also there's that little problem of a Megalodon Shark that is killing and eating everyone in sight.
The film is not the best of all the many Shark movies out there but it is a good action thriller and there are a few neat twists in the story. The family are very intelligent, especially the two children.
The CGI was alright, better then some you might see nowadays.
Lucas has aged very badly in my opinion and I did not recognise him at first.
The ending was alright and I think it was the only way to do it.
The writing and direction was good as was all the supporting actors.
I shall rate this film a biting score of 6/10.
