ULTRA MAN

 Ultra-Man, the inevitable Superman-clone of the Guardians team. (The wings are just for the publicity picture.)

The first superhero to arise in the Guardians universe. He fought the Nazis, and then the Communists, and then the terrorists, and is basically a house-hold name, having been around since 1929. despite being a century old, he's looks as young as it appears in this picture.

His moral attitudes are nuanced. While he is accepting of all people and is protective of the rights of all minority groups, be they based in race, culture, sexual orientation, religion (or lack thereof), and trans-status, the easy availability of sexual material in the modern world, the willingness of modern women to jump into sex work seeming on a whim, and the general lack of religiousness in today's world bother him somewhat. He's not a bluenose conservative by any means, but he was born in 1909 and grew up as a god-fearing farm boy in Nevraska and sometimes it shows. The polite way to describe it is... he's quaint and old-fashioned. He tries to not be rude about it, but sometimes...

Ultra-Man has all the powers possessed by Superman, barring the heat vision. There is no kryprtonite in the Guardians universe, and his biggest vulnerbility seem to be telepathic attacks.
