MORBIUS

 This afternoon, we watched this Superhero Vampire movie on Netflix.

It's based on the Marvel character of the same name.

Jared Leto is pretty good as Dr. Michael Morbius who is suffering from a rare blood disease, that he cures with Vampire Blood but the side effects cause him to turn into an actual Vampire.

His nemesis is his best friend and newly turned Vampire, Milo played by Matt Smith, who did a good job in his role.

The story is good, but there seems to be a lot missing from it and we felt cheated as there are multiple scenes in the trailers that they cut out of the final edit of the movie and the many re-shoots they did after Covid-19 ruined the film, as many cooks spoil the broth, if you know what I mean.

The special effects are decent and the action scenes are impressive.

It was a decent movie but I hope they do make a second film or a remake, perhaps?

I will rate this superhero flick a score of 6/10.
