This afternoon, we finished watching this American neo noir crime-action drama television miniseries on Paramount+
"The Continental explores the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott (played by Ian McShane in the films), as he's dragged into the hell-scape of 1970's New York City to face a past he thought he'd left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel's mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his throne."
Mel Gibson is a delight as the main bad guy Cormac O'Connor who runs The Continental during the 70's.
The cast were brilliant in their roles, and there was a lot of British talent among the cast.
The gunplay and martial arts were fantastic as you would expect from the John Wick franchise.
Even the 70's music was groovy too!
I shall rate this series a score of 8/10.
