Adam takes a backseat in this movie and it focus on Sunny Sandler (His youngest) as her character of Stacy and her best friend Lydia who've always dreamed about having epic Bat Mitzvahs. However, things start to go comically awry when a popular boy and middle school drama threatens their friendship and their rite of passage.
I admit the this whole Jewish thing is alien to me, but it was interesting to see how these two young girls try to overcome Middle School and their faith.
The film also has an underlying and clever statement about the misuse of social media by the young and the growing pains of the teenage life..
It is a very sweet, sad, and funny film, which is worth watching.
Being a Teenage Jewish Girl is really hard, so much pressure is placed on them and what they need to do to become classed as an adult at the age of 13 years old.
I shall rate this film a score of 8/10. Worth it.
