I have visited Mother Shipton's Cave, it's a cool place to visit.
"Mother Shipton's Cave in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, UK. Also known as "Old Mother Shipton's Cave", it is believed to be the birthplace of Ursula Southeil (1488-1561), the legendary soothsayer affectionately known as "Mother Shipton" because of her marriage to Tony Shipton.
The cave is also famous for having a Petrifying Well, with a number of objects, including Teddy Bears, all petrified and hanging off the ceiling of the entrance.
She is often described as a Witch and prophetess who used herbal remedies, performed spells and predicted the future.
King Henry VIII of England described a "Witch of York" in a 1537 letter to the Duke of Norfolk.
Many believe he was referring to Mother Shipton.
Most serious historians do not doubt her existence."
