Well I have just had my very final session with my private carer Kayleigh.
She is a wonderful young lady who has done a semi-decent job, but she is also pregnant and will be leaving soon in a few months time, and the other carers are bloody useless.
Considering I am paying for this service and they are not medically trained in stump care, I need a better service as the district nurses have washed their hands of me and refuse to help me.
So I have had to cancel my carer placement as my stumps are not getting better as they are leaking and I have an infection in both.
My GP won't do anything until I get a swab of my right stump tomorrow, and she has already said that I am resistant to most of the antibiotics.
Plus I really need to get my right stump to a better state of skin improvement in case I do go into surgery at the end of the year/beginning of next year, for re-surgery of fixing the mistakes they made when they cut off my legs 10 years ago.
Plus I really want stubbies, as I need to walk again!
