Last night, I watched Tag (2015) on Shudder, It's a Japanese action horror film.
Mitsuko, a typical Japanese teenage girl has her life turned upside down as everyone around her suffers a gruesome fate while she becomes less certain of who she is and where she is, as she goes on the run from something inexplicable, intangible, and utterly deadly.
However, that's not all. Amid piles of fresh dead bodies, mounds of scorching bullet shells, and rivulets of fragrant young blood, frail Mitsuko must fight to stay alive, before her already messed up day becomes even stranger.
This film is incredibly strange, surreal, and bloody violent!
I watched the opening 5 minutes the other night, which made me want to see the whole film and I'm glad I did as I needed to cheer myself up and it did!
The only thing I did not like was the subtitles on a white background for a lot of scenes, so I missed some dialogue and I had to read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia to fill in the blanks for me.
Do not watch if you get over sensitive of a lot of bloody deaths!
I shall rate this film a score of 7/10.
