This afternoon, we finished watching season 2 of the animated fantasy adventure series "Daniel Spellbound" on Netflix.
Continuing on from the end of the first series, Daniel is on the run by Bounty Hunters as he broke the magical Tracker code and he has several hours left to find a special object to gain his status back and to clear his name, after he completes his mission, he is sent on another quest to locate a lost Tracker who has found a new magical source, accompanied by the Tracker's young sister, they travel the globe in search for him and discover what he is hiding.
Daniel and his trusty sidekick, Hoagie the Pig must stop an even greater evil to the world.
This was a better series than the first one with new added characters and more of the mythology of the world is revealed in this awesome action packed animated series.
I shall rate this season a score of 8/10.
I do hope there will be a third series as this one does end on a cliffhanger.

NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU!
Last night, I watched this sci-fi horror movie on Disney+
"A lonely young woman who has been ostracised by her town must deal with a home invasion with an Extra-Terrestrial twist."
This film was recently hailed by Stephen King as he gave it his highest praise on his Twitter account. I agree with him on this.
This film only has one piece of dialogue and you don't actually notice it until it happens.
The main actress played by Kaitlyn Dever's performance was really exceptional, as she skilfully portrays curiosity, fear, and remorse throughout the film.
The story itself had nods to the classic movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and had elements of "Signs" added to it.
This is an outstanding cinematic experience and It stands out as one of the best alien horror movies I've seen in a long time.
The aliens and special effects are truly top-notch, showcasing some of the most impressive alien designs I've witnessed within the horror genre.
The storyline exceeds expectations, featuring intelligent subplots that add depth to the unfolding narrative.
The cinematography is pristine and utilizes drones effectively. The unexpected ending adds a unique twist to the story.
I highly recommend this film and I shall rate this movie a score of 8/10.

SHADOW AND BONE SEASON 2
Yesterday lunchtime, we finished watching season 2 of this fantasy series on Netflix.
It is based on two series of books by Leigh Bardugo set in the Grishaverse, namely, the Shadow and Bone trilogy and the Six of Crows duology.
The second series starts right after the first season ended and war is coming to the land as the two main characters Alina and Mal seek out objects to harness Alina's powers to bring down the Dark Fold and to stop The Darkling for good. Most of their story was pretty boring and they have no chemistry whatsoever as lovers and companions. However the Mercenary Thieves The Crows were awesome and highly entertaining as they were in the firsts season.
Led by the Bastard of the Barrel himself "Kaz Brekker" and the gang consists of the Assassin "Inej", the Gunslinger "Jesper", the Demolitions Expert "Wylan", and the Healer "Nina."
The Crows were the best thing about this series, they were awesome antiheroes with a hearts of gold and death.
The heroes are also allied with the mysterious Pirate Captain "Sturmhond" who has secrets and mysteries himself.
This was a better series than the first but the two main characters are boring and not that entertaining. I wish they just made a Crows series instead.
The acting was good, as was the unusual powers that most of them had, which reminded me a lot of The Last Airbender.
The fashion style of dress was brilliant, with European and Russian style to them.
The sinister shadow demons were scary and that was cool.
I am looking forward to the third and final series next year.

NOT NOW!
The cafe in Manchester is busy, a hubbub of people talking and the clink of cups and the fierce hiss of the espresso machine, like a dragon. You spot a table in the corner though, so join the queue and keep your fingers crossed that everyone in front of you in the queue is getting a take-out or is buying coffee for a table where their friends have already sat down.
You’re lucky, and when you reach the front of the queue that little table for two in the corner is still empty. You order a flat white, oat milk please, and one of those vegan cinnamon swirls. The barista nods and puts a cup under the spouts and hits go on the espresso, and starts steaming your milk. Right at that moment, everything stops.
The coffee running from the spouts of the espresso machine hangs in mid-air, like a brown icicle. The steam stops hissing, the barista does not move. All the conversations and the scrape of chairs and the clink of cups or plates and knives stops. You look around, and one woman is half-out of her seat, caught in the moment of reaching for her phone on the table. A man near you is holding his cup to his mouth. At another table, someone had just dropped a knife, and it hangs there, in mid-air. You can hear the sound of traffic outside, but other than you, everything in the cafe is silent. Every one in the cafe is silent. Nothing moves.
Nothing apart from you, and one man sitting on his own near the window. He puts down his newspaper and says urgently, but not unkindly, “This place is not for you. Not now, not at this time. It is very important that you go now, because at this time you do not belong here.”
Almost as if in trance, you move away towards the door through the silence and the statues, and then in one motion you open it and step through, and there you are in the street, a bus wheezing past, a Deliveroo rider on a bike scattering pedestrians on the pavement. You know if you looked back through the windows of the cafe you would see everything in movement again. But you do not look back.

HOUSING MEETING
This morning, Candy and I attended a community meeting with some other residents and two representatives from Broadacres Housing Association, Our landlords in the area.
We chatted with them for about an hour before we left to go shopping into the village. I highly doubt that anything we as a group mentioned to them will be sorted out.
They are not good as a Housing Association.

WEREWOLVES OF IRELAND
Faoladh
The Irish werewolf is different from the Teutonic or European werewolf, as it is really not a “monster” at all. Unlike its continental cousins, this shapeshifter is the guardian and protector of children, wounded men and lost persons. According to some ancient sources, the Irish werewolves were even recruited by kings in time of war. Known in their native land as the faoladh or conriocht, their predatory behaviour is typical of the common wolf, not beneath the occasional nocturnal raid.

THE CHRISTMAS WITCH
Frau Perchta, the Terrifying Christmas Witch! Frau Perchta isn’t as well known as Krampus these days, which is a shame, because this Christmas-time goddess/witch/all-around-terrifying-gal deserves a lot more press. She’s a staple in the Alpine regions of southern Germany and Austria, but relatively under-the-radar in North America.
Frau Perchta was also known as Berchta, or Bertha, and has also been called “Spinnstubenfrau” or “Spinning Room Lady.” She is often depicted with a beaked nose made of iron, dressed in rags, perhaps carrying a cane, and generally resembles a decrepit old crone. But this old crone packs a mighty wallop…. and carries a long knife hidden under her skirt.
She also bears a resemblance to the Scandinavian goddess Frigga, and both of them share one obsession in common: spinning, specifically, and domestic neatness generally. Frankly, she’s pretty judge-y about the state of your home for a woman who dresses all in rags. Legend has it that you’d better get all your flax spun by Twelfth Night (January 6th), “for when the Christmas season was over, it would be time to set up the big upright loom, at which time you must have enough thread to warp it and start your weaving.” And what’s Frau Perchta’s punishment for those lazy ladies who haven’t finished all their weaving? “In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, there were numerous tales of Frau Perchta trampling and even settling fire to the half-spun fibers.” And if should you really irritate her? Like, say, not only is your flax not spun, but your house is a total mess (this domestic goddess/witch hates a messy house) and you’ve even failed to leave out a traditional bowl of porridge for her? Well, then her rampaging will extend far beyond your slovenly spinning room. She’ll do nothing less than steal into your bedroom, disembowel you and replace your guts with rocks and straw.
But Perchta does more than just check up on your spinning. Other legends equate Frau Perchta with the legend of the Wild Hunt, and say that she flies through the night sky attended by an army of lost souls, including the demonic-looking Perchten, her army of servants who are visually nearly indistinguishable from Krampus. The only way to know for sure is context; Krampus rides abroad at St. Nicholas Eve while the Perchten tend more toward Epiphany, and the last three Thursdays before Christmas, also known as Berchtl nights or Knocking nights. Also among her army of the night are the souls of unbaptized children. Legend has it if you hear the wind and thunder roaring and rumbling through the mountains on the Berchtl nights, you’re really hearing the sounds of Perchta leading the Wild Hunt. Another one of Frau Perchta’s names is Holle, a winter goddess who’s name means “shining” or “bright” — hence her association with Epiphany, the “Shining Night” on which the star of Bethlehem shone down. Her dual nature is expressed in the fact that there are both “Evil” or “Ugly” Perchten and “Pretty” Perchten, both of whom you might find in a typical “Perchtenlauf” or Perchten run in the Alpine regions of Europe. The Pretty Perchten are all well and good, but honestly, I’m a bigger fan of the Evil Perchta, and she’s the one I love to fear in these days leading up to Christmas. With every passing moment my anxiety mounts as I try to finish, if not all my spinning, all my housework and cleaning in time for the Christmas season. As I sweep and mop and clean and dust, I visualize the old crone sneaking into my kitchen late at night, running her withered, clawlike fingers over the baseboards and tops of the cupboards checking for dust. She creeps through the house like a mad Martha Stewart crossed with the Grinch Who Stole Christmas… and if I should fail in my housekeeping…. well!
Let’s just say it really motivates me to pick up around the house.
So this January 6th, instead of bemoaning the fact that Christmas is over, why not celebrate “Perchtentag” by telling your kids they’d better clean up their rooms or Frau Perchta will come and disembowel them in the night. Kids love that sort of thing.
Happy holidays! May Frau Perchta smile upon you!

SLAG
Hasbro wants to change the name of the Dinobot "Slag"
It has been a slur for decades now, and I am glad that they are correcting this injustice to The New Comers.
The Tenctonese Children can finally enjoy watching Transformers without hearing that awful slur against them.

MORTAL KOMBAT (2021)
Last night, I watched this 2021 martial arts fantasy film directed by Simon McQuoid (in his feature directorial debut) on Netflix.
It's a reboot/remake of the far superior 1995 classic movie of the same name.
I admit, I have never ever played any of the computer games, so my knowledge of the characters stems from the '95 & '97 films and what my wife has told me as she was a fan of the computer games.
I love the original movie, from the special effects, the humour, the martial arts, to the acting and the dialogue "Get Over Here" etc.
But this new version had pretty much none of it, I don't even know who any of the actors were except for the guys who played Scorpion and Cole Young.
I found this film to be very boring and rubbish to watch, I'm glad it was on Netflix, so I did not have to pay any extra for it.
I shall rate this crapfest a score of 2/10. I might rewatch the original tonight instead!

PYRAMIDS IN UKRAINE: IS THIS THE REAL REASON?
"It appears that Ukrainian researchers have come across one of the most important discoveries in recent years as they accidentally discovered a set of megalithic constructions and pyramids in the peninsula of Crimea, well-known in ancient history for archaeological and historical treasures from different cultures and ancient civilizations ranging from the Greeks and Romans to the Genoese and Ottoman Turks. Crimea is an autonomous republic of Ukraine, it is located on the northern coast of the Black Sea."
Thirty-seven pyramids were discovered underground beginning in 1999, in Crimea near Sebastopol. Twenty-eight of these pyramids form a huge rhombus with the 29th one in the center. Seven more form a smaller rhombus with the 37th pyramid in the center.
"“There is a resonance chamber of so-called Sphinx."
Instruments invented by Vitalij Gokh, the discoverer of the pyramid complex, revealed that from the top of the structure, three beams of energy emanated, at frequencies 900x109 Hz, 700x109 Hz and 500x109 Hz. Around the pyramid, a field of 10x109 Hz was noticed.
These beams from the top of the pyramids sound very much like the scalar beams emanating from the Bosnia Pyramids.
"The digging also revealed signs in the surrounding layers that the pyramid had originally been open to the air. Some of the pyramids are under water.
"The “Crimean pyramid” has a truncated top, like a Mayan pyramid, but its appearance is more like an Egyptian one. It is hollow inside, and a mummy of an unknown creature is buried under the foundation.
"It is noteworthy to mention that until today the information regarding the veracity and existence of the pyramids has not been proven nor accepted by archaeologists."
Ground penetrating radar shows the central pyramid is 72X72 meters at the base and 45 meters high. There is a large sphinx type carved head attached to the west facing side.

A WITCH'S FAMILIAR
A witch sees a kitty with the potential to be her newest “familiar”. Familiars, are pets psychically connected to their witches. The relationship between witches and familiars runs deep. Familiars usually are small household pets that serve as a witch’s companion. According to European folklore, familiars are sort of like guides, who take the form of an animal on Earth. They are loyal guardians and protectors to witches, who are sent to assist them with magic. Every animal has its spiritual significance in the magical world. But if we're being real, many witches have cat familiars by their sides.

ONE PIECE
This afternoon, we finished watching this fabulous fantasy adventure series that is based off a manga series of the same name that also spawned an anime series as well.
We had no idea of what the series was all about except that it involved pirates looking for treasure, But we were pleasantly surprised at how awesome this series was in fact.
Filled with a lot of fun, action, humour, and danger.
They did a very good job in making a live action manga series and all the actors did a wonderful job.
I am looking forward to watching season 2 next year.
I shall rate this show a decent score of 10/10.

THE ALIEN QUEEN OF VENUS
Inanna came from the planet Venus, arrived on planet earth and had a temple full of genetically modified she-males who were neither men nor women… In my book STAR GODS, I trace the history of how 'VENUS BROOD WOMEN' were genetically engineered to be 'factories' that seeded early civilisations in JAPAN and who then spread across the world, seeding China, Mongolia, Iraq, Palestinia and then the rest of the world - finishing in the Americas… The famous Sumerian statues which clearly show the part-human and part-reptilian aspects of Inanna and other 'gods' are actually COPIES from Japan - and my research reveals that genetic laboratories with hideously cruel 'brood mares' were created before the Jomon Period which is the real birth of civilisation - and was flourishing in Japan with domestication of animals 9,000 years before Sumeria and thousands of years before Gobekli Tepe...
One of the most telling aspects of the Japanese Jomon 'Fertility Factories' run by aliens from Venus are the peculiar 'Gala Brotherhood' (in Akkadian: kalû) which are remembered in the Sumerian legends which claim all of mankind is a genetically manipulated construct - mixing ape DNA with their own Venusian DNA… The so called 'goddess' Inanna had a large tribe of these Gala She-male servants servicing her temples and palaces. The Gala had neither male nor female gender. The Gala appear in temple records dating back from the middle of the 3rd millennium BC in ancient Sumeria. Zechariah Sitchin and Eric Von Daniken have failed to make the connection of similarities between the Iananna artefacts and the Jomon Japanese culture - indeed, my STAR GODS book is the first book which clearly lays out the accepted timeline of the Jomon people, who were making earthenware pots and braided rope and keeping animals thousands of years before even seeds were being saved by pre-neolithic cultures in Europe. The most obvious historical evidence for the Star Gods landing in Japan is that the Jomon and Dogu figurines are wearing 'space suits' and the 'Venus Figurines' found worldwide usually do have oriental shaped eyes.

SIX, TWENTY-ONE, THREE, ELEVEN
Way up in the shortwave, right in the middle of the static, there is a radio station. A female voice, with an accent that no-one can place, reads out a list of numbers. She never stops. Six, twenty-one, three, eleven, eleven, eleven, six. Numbers station enthusiasts on the internet speculate that this station is Russian, or British, or American, or Chinese. Intelligence officers from each of these countries all assume that the station belongs to one of the other sides.
They are all wrong. They also do not know that if the numbers stop, the world comes to an end.

Very odd video with an idiot presenting it with his partner.
They hardly touched upon all the secrets and mysteries of my old home, I know more then they do and I should make a video.

TORY GREED
Ha! Typical Tory bullshit there, being corrupt and greedy as always.
But God forbid that ONLY Jeremy Corbyn would have done such a horrendous act! And as we all know, he would not have done this.

THE HOME PROTECTION BIND RUNE
In times of old, a bind rune was created,
Designed to protect, and never be abated.
Algiz and Othala, two ancient runes,
Were chosen to ward off unwanted dunes.
Algiz stands tall, a shield of defense,
Protecting your home, no matter the pretense.
Its power is great, its strength immense,
Keeping evil at bay, with no recompense.
Othala brings forth the power of the ancestors,
Creating a barrier, a shield that endures.
The spirits of old, it calls to its side,
A force to be reckoned with, a shield that won't subside.
Together they work, in harmony and might,
Protecting your home, day and night.
Algiz wards off negative energies,
While Othala creates a shield that never ceases.
Their powers combined, a protective bind,
Keeping your home safe, from any unwanted havoc.
No matter the foe, no matter the plight,
This bind rune will keep your home alight.
So if you seek protection, strong and bold,
Look no further than this bind rune of old.
Algiz and Othala, runes of might,
Will keep your home safe, day and night.
Designed to protect, and never be abated.
Algiz and Othala, two ancient runes,
Were chosen to ward off unwanted dunes.
Algiz stands tall, a shield of defense,
Protecting your home, no matter the pretense.

Keeping evil at bay, with no recompense.

CHEATING SATAN
He is actually a cool guy but he does cheat at Scrabble as he is always using Demon names on the board!
HARLAN COBEN'S SHELTER
This lunchtime, we finished watching this mystery drama series on Amazon Prime, based on the best selling novel "Shelter" by Harlan Coben.
For the last 8 Friday's, an episode has dropped on the streaming service and each one has been filled with so many twists, funny moments, death, and lots of action and mystery.
It was one of those shows where you are on the edge of your seat and afterwards you are wondering what the heck is going on as the twists to the story always made us think that what we knew was not what was going on.
I highly recommend this series and we are hoping for a second season.
I shall rate this show a score of 9/10.

PEN PAL PHOTO
This is me from 19 years ago (2004), taken in my old flat back in Milton Keynes and wearing my Ghosthunters UK shirt.
This is the photo that I sent to my pen pal at the time, Candy and she fell in love with my image, which I don't blame her really!

TREE HUGGING
I use to hug trees and I miss it a lot.
"The origin of the term "Tree hugger".
"The first tree huggers were 294 men and 69 women belonging to the Bishnois branch of Hinduism, who, in 1730, died while trying to protect the trees in their village from being turned into the raw material for building a palace. They literally clung to the trees, while being slaughtered by the foresters. But their action led to a royal decree prohibiting the cutting of trees in any Bishnoi village.
And now those villages are virtual wooded oases amidst an otherwise desert landscape.
Not only that, the Bishnois inspired the Chipko movement (chipko means “to cling” in Hindi) that started in the 1970s, when a group of peasant women in the Himalayan hills of northern India threw their arms around trees designated to be cut down.
Within a few years, this tactic, also known as tree satyagraha, had spread across India, ultimately forcing reforms in forestry and a moratorium on tree felling in Himalayan regions.
