I have an appointment on the 8th December at James Cook Hospital to see the Vascular Surgery Consultant to review my stumps.
What I am after is to have another X-Ray taken of both stumps, and then discuss if I am viable to have surgery to remove access skin and to have my stumps modified and the pain receptors removed and hopefully (fingers crossed) to get around in having prosthetics and learn how to walk again.
This is my ultimate goal as I want to be (semi) normal again.
But this is the NHS, so anything might or might not happen.
