Last night, I watched this awesome Zombie comedy film on Netflix.
"Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead." which is based on a Manga series.
Akira Tendo is a young office worker who is being bullied by his boss and is forced to work non-stop until it takes a Zombie Apocalypse to happen for him to feel worthy and alive again and get out of that toxic work environment.
He and his two friends go on a journey together to complete his bucket list before his (possible) upcoming death.
Their friendship and companionship is the focal point as they all try to survive with the dead trying to bite them at every corner.
They meet up with other survivors and they confront the office boss from hell in an action packed final with some neat surprises!
I have worked in a toxic work environment before and it does drain the life out of you, but seeing Akira looking happy when he realises that he does not have to go back to work was a joy to see.
I loved this film and the Zombies are the fast running and jumping kind which is cool.
The visual effects were brilliant as was the story and acting.
The Zombie creature at the end (I won't spoil it for you) was awesome and the ending left it open for more adventures.
I shall rate this movie a score of 9/10.
