THE TIGER'S APPRENTICE

Yesterday lunchtime, we watched this animated fantasy movie on Paramount+ based on the 2003 novel of the same name.

"Tom Lee, a Chinese-American boy, after loosing his grandmother who dies in battle, is sent to be apprenticed to the talking tiger Mr. Hu, one of the Zodiac animals and he must learn ancient magic to become the new guardian of an ancient phoenix jewel and to stop evil from destroying the world."
This is a very cool and action packed Chinese fable set in modern day San Francisco, with some cool characters from the Chinese Zodiac that can transform into human hybrids.
The voice cast were brilliant as was the story.
I would recommend this movie and I will watch this again, I hope they make a sequel or even a TV series to continue the story, as the book series is a trilogy.
The animation style was really good as well.
The only downside of this film was that did not focus on all the 12 animals as most of them were captured by the bad guys and only got into the fight near the end after they are rescued.
The Tiger, Rat, Dragon, and Monkey were brilliant, however I would like to know more about the Pig and Goat.
I will rate this flick a score of 8/10.
