Injured and on the brink of death, Gabriel was approached by a malevolent entity, a forgotten Babylonian god named Nergal, who offered him a Faustian bargain: life in exchange for servitude.

Curse of Nergal:Gabriel, desperate to survive, accepted Nergal's offer without fully understanding the consequences. In that moment, he was cursed with the ability to manipulate sand and dust particulates, becoming a vessel for Nergal's dark powers. Though Gabriel gained incredible abilities, he also became ensnared in Nergal's web, forced to carry out the god's sinister will.

Heroic Resolve:Despite the darkness that surrounds him, Gabriel, now known as Dust Devil, refuses to be a pawn of Nergal's malevolence.
