PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS

Yesterday, we finished watching this epic fantasy series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" based on the book of the same name on Disney+

"Twelve-year-old demigod Percy Jackson is accused by the Greek god Zeus of stealing his thunderbolt and races to find it and restore order to Olympus."
They did make a movie about this back in 2010 starring the older looking actor Logan Lerman who was 18 years old when he played the role of 12 year old Percy!
This time, they have cast 14 year old Walker Scobell (The Adam Project) to play Percy Jackson in the series and he is utterly brilliant in his role as the ADHD gifted Demigod.
The series is closer to the events of the book for which I do own but have not yet read. The cast did a wonderful job in their roles and the Greek monsters were brilliant.
Plus the late and great actor Lance Reddick played Zeus in the final episode.
However, my only downer to this series was the ending that came out yesterday and that is just fizzled out and there was no major battle between two characters (no spoilers) that actually happened in the movie but not the book or the TV series. So that was a shame.
However, we did love this series and I do hope that Disney will renew it for a second season.
I will rate this epic show a score of 8/10.
