It's based on real life events about a serial killer and the police officer trying to stop him.
Cage plays the lead detective on a mission to hunt down an evil deranged man, and Cusack plays the deranged serial killer, with Hudgens as an escaped victim who helps cage in his case.
There is not much action, but the drama is really good as is the Alaskan scenery and the acting is brilliant. It does showcase Cage's acting chops as he is wonderful and not over the top as his usual movies are.
I will rate this thriller a score of 9/10.
