NYAVKA

Nyavka (Mavka) is a female character from Ukrainian mythology, a soul of a drowned or died unbaptized girl who lives in the woods. According to some Carpathian beliefs she looks like a beautiful young girl, but in her back there is a big hole and so her viscera are visible. Mavkas entice and lure men into the woods where they tickle them to death.
