THE MONASTERY OF MUGORSKY

"If you look closely, you will see that those are not humans, but are instead capuchin monkeys that had been trained at the Monastery of Mugorsky the Heretik. The monkeys were wielders of arcane magicks and trained with the Cossacks of the Carcossian steppes, so were master horsemen and deadly fighters.
In 1918-1920 they waged a rebellion against the Tsar of Chernoye-Solntse, and nearly a sixth of the population of the Earth at that time died as a result. The Tsar's army pursued the Mugorskians into a part of Russia called Tunguska. The Russians, in retaliation against both sides violating their border, unleashed a weapon that they had recently developed that they called "Tsar Bomba". The entire army of the Tsar was destroyed along with the entire order of the Heretik. Modern arcanists credit the actions of the Order of Mugorskega Heretika for both the Spanish Flu outbreak of 1918 and the Tunguskan Event of 1908."
