YOU PEOPLE!

This afternoon, we watched this Rom-Com Drama on Netflix.
Surprisingly it was a very good film of culture clashes between the Jewish and Black people in L.A.
It follows a young couple who fall in love and their respective strict families and it examines family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences.
I found this movie to be quite funny as the Jewish and Black people often take the mickey out of themselves and their culture.
This is a good film that stars Eddie Murphy as the Bride's Father and Jonah Hill as the Groom in the only film I actually found him to be funny in as I can't stand him normally and I don't like him.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Jonah's very Jewish mother and she was quite funny. However some characters were just there for padding and were really wasted in their roles like David Duchovny as Jonah's Father and Nia Long as the bride's Mother.
It was a good film and you will enjoy it more if you don't get offended easily.
I consider this film to be a modern comedy remake of the classic 1967 film "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner"
I shall rate this flick a score of 7/10.
