I am a sucker for Nicholas Cage movies and I love the guy, but this film really made me scratch my head a lot! lol
Its plot revolves around a notorious criminal, Hero (Nicolas Cage), who is sent to rescue the governor's adopted granddaughter, who has disappeared into a dark region called Ghostland.
It's a post-apocalyptic weird wasteland full of outcasts and people you would expect from a Mad Max movie.
Nick as Hero is outfitted in a tight leather suit, rigged to explode if he get's naughty! (He does loose one of his Veg!)
This is a very strange and bizarre arty farty surreal movie that is even odd for a Cage film!
He is doing more of his weirdness and I applaud him for it, but In the end, I can't recommend this except for Nicholas Cage's fanboys and Sion Sono (The Director) fans.
I shall rate this movie a score of 4/10.
I still have no idea, what the heck I actually watched last night!
