Cage plays Frank Walsh, a big game hunter who has captured a number of wild animals including a white jaguar, and are transporting them via a cargo ship from Brazil to the United States, the crew of the ship are also joined by a crack team of American special force soldiers escorting a dangerous prisoner who escapes and let all the animals out of the cage to cause destruction. Now it's down to Frank Walsh to save his animals, crew, and to stop the dangerous mercenary from escaping the ship to his freedom.
All the American soldiers are easily killed as they always do in these situations and the Jaguar has a nice snack or two of them.
Cage is in fact not in his normal OTT crazy self this time around, it's actually the bad guy, played by Kevin Durand is the crazy actor and he plays it well.
This is one of the better batch of Cage movies in recent years, the story is basic but good and very entertaining, the animals are better actors then the two-bit background characters in the film.
I really liked this one and I would watch it again.
I shall rate this film, a score of 7/10.
