30 YEARS OF DS9

30 years ago, on this day in 1993 Star Trek: Deep Space Nine broadcast its first episode and launched what was, in my opinion, the best incarnation of Star Trek. It was more human than other series, more grounded and yet optimistic.
Not only were the main cast of characters were well rounded but all the supporting characters were all brilliantly written and all had their share of screen time, all becoming memorable and iconic characters that you cared about.
The story arc was brilliant from the very beginning to the climax of the Dominion War.
This is my all time favourite Trek series and I am currently rewatching it yet again on Netflix.
