Last night, I finished watching the first season of The Wheel of Time on Prime Video.
"Set in a high fantasy world where magic exists, but only some can access it, a woman named Moiraine crosses paths with five young men and women. This sparks a dangerous, world-spanning journey. Based on the book series by Robert Jordan."
It is alright, but not perfect, but it does copy a lot from the LotR movies and Shadow and Bone, as well as Dune.
It's not that original, and I have never read the books or played the RPG before watching this so I am brand new to this fantasy world.
There are a few outstanding characters among a large number of boring ass ones too. The monster race "Trollocs" were interesting and they looked like Krampus instead.
I will watch the second season at some point but not right now, and because I was slightly bored with this, I shall only rate this series a score of 6/10.
