LAWMEN: BASS REEVES

Last night, I finally finished watching this western series on Paramount+

"It is based on the life of the first African American Deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi River, Bass Reeves."
I started watching this 8 episode series back in November when it first came out and it took me ages to watch it as it was a bloody boring slog of a show.
The show dragged on and on and it was BORING! the ending was rushed to conclude the whole storyline, and the parts of the story where it centred on Bass's wife and kids was unnecessary and it made it even worse.
I have never seen Yellowstone or 1883, the other two shows set in the same universe I believe.
"The Lone Ranger" character was inspired by the adventures of the real Bass Reeves, which I only found out a few years ago, when I was watching the sci-fi time travel series on E4 "Timeless."
The actors who played Bass and his sidekick Billy Crow were good but I had trouble keeping my eyes open.
I am glad that the show has finally finished, which is a shame as I do love a good western, but this was not it.
I shall rate this series a score of 2/10. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
