It's based on a computer game, that I've never heard of before.
The cast, action scenes, monsters are brilliant. The story was not bad, but it did steal a lot of stuff from the Stargate movie.
And what is it with American military giving hershey"chocolate" bars to the first alien species they meet? That is NOT chocolate!
Anyway, I really did enjoy the film, even if some of the deaths of the characters were signposted from the start.
I shall rate this film a score of 8/10.
