It was very good, I enjoyed the story, the surprise guest stars, and the humour was back.
I loved the beginning chase scene in the forest, the wedding was sweet, and I was hoping for the Kaylon's to double cross the Orville and open fire! lol
As for the whole season 3 overview - It was very good, well written, and they upped the stakes with the season, and reduced the humour quite a bit.
Seth Macfarlane did a wonderful job with writing and directing this series and also starring as the Captain of the Union star ship "The Orville"
The action scenes this season has been the best I have ever seen in a sci-fi TV show, exceeding Babylon 5 and Deep Space Nine.
The adult and moral storylines were well written and not "woke" that some viewers might want you to think.
Will this be the final? Who knows, but it was a good ending if it is, as some shows never have a proper ending.
I will actually rate the whole season a score of 10/10.
