It's based on a comic book series that I have read a few issues of, some years ago.
The acting was alright, the four young girls were quite good in their roles, the writing was not bad, not a lot of special effects to write home about, and well apart from all of that, It was incredibly slow and boring in parts, which was a shame.
People have compared this series to Stranger Things as it has an 80's background, and to Doctor Who as the series involves time travel. Can't people actually make up something original to describe shows?
Plus there is nothing "woke" about this show, just because it has female leads, did they hurt you in your man vagina?
I was looking forward to this show, and if they do renew it for a season 2, I hope it get's better.
I shall rate this series a score of 5/10.
