I have been enjoying each and every week of this series, Each episode has been really good and IMHO, one of the best Trek series out there, apart from DS9.
Anson Mount as Captain Pike is brilliant, all the cast members have been very good in their roles, and I loved how they expanded on the characters that have already appeared in previous shows.
From the theme intro tune (which I bop my head to with a big grin on my face) to the special effects that are really decent.
This series also makes the Gorn really scary (Xenomorph style) and the series one ending with Captain Kirk was interesting but he was the only one that let the series down as the actor is too old for the role and not very good or charming.
I can't wait for season 2!
I shall rate this series a score of 9/10.
