Last night, I finished watching season 4 of Z-Nation on Netflix.
I am currently re-watching the whole series, as this is one of the best Zombie series on TV.
I watched it when it first came out on Pick TV, and I always thought this was a brilliant and very intelligent Zombie series, far much better then The Walking Dead ever was!
Lt. Roberta Warren and Murphy have been on Zona for the last two years and Warren has been in an induced coma with things being done to her mind including secret programming without her knowledge.
Meanwhile, Murphy has been living the highlife as he has been cured and has given his blood to cure the residents of Zona, not yet knowing that his blood has interesting aftereffects for the corrupt and evil residents.
On the mainland of America, things have gotten worse for the rest of the group, most of them have split up into various survival groups and a new breed of Zombies have emerged that are harder to kill called Mad-Z's.
Something happens to them all and three members of the group mysteriously disappear and never to be seen again until season 5.
The remaining lot reunite and go off on to another mission as Warren starts to have strange and painful visions of what the future might bring and she needs to stop it, the journey takes them all the way to Canada and back to America and onto Washington D.C. for the final countdown!
They do lose a member and gain another in the form of Sgt. Lily.
This season is one of the weakest seasons of the five year run, with many, many plot holes and stories not being resolved.
Even the humour was not as good and I think the budget was reduced this season.
This series does end in another dramatic cliff hanger as the Black Rainbow is unleashed.
I will rate this season a 7/10. Three points down from the first three seasons.
