Yesterday we finished watching season one of Twisted Metal on Prime Video.
This is a post-apocalyptic action comedy that's based on a computer game of the same name.
It stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Seanoa, Will Arnett and Thomas Haden Church (whom I did not recognise).
"In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, John Doe, a talkative milkman with amnesia, is given a mission to traverse the desolate United States to deliver a mysterious package with unknown contents. He faces a life-altering opportunity but must confront ruthless marauders in deadly and destructive vehicles to secure a chance at a better future."
This is a damn good action packed comedy with a decent soundtrack from the early noughties.
I have never played the game, my only knowledge of this was seeing the box cover in Blockbusters and other game stores back in the day.
We really enjoyed this film and all the actors did a wonderful job in their roles.
I am looking forward for season two which should be out next year.
I shall rate this series a score of 9/10.
