It's written, directed, and executive produced by British filmmaker Neil Marshall (Dog Solders)

The female lead is played by Charlotte Kirk who is Neil's girlfriend in real life and she also co-wrote and co-executive produced the film with him.
The film is really good with a nice mixture of films like Resident Evil, Dog Soldiers, and Descent with some wicked one-liners and a lot of action.
The cast of actors were alright, except the British actor Jamie Bamber who is normally good in his roles, does a hammy performance as the eye patch wearing major with a very bad American accent.
It is slightly low budget in special effects but they did a good job overall. If you want an evening of monster fun, then give this film a chance and enjoy!
