This is the second attempt at adapting Anthony Horowitz' best selling YA series following the critical and box office failure of Stormbreaker back in 2006. The young-ish actor Otto Farrant plays Alex Rider in the series and for a 26yr old adult, playing a teenager, he actually pulled it off really well.
The first series adapted elements from the first two books in the novel series - Stormbreaker and Point Blanc.
This series does have elements of science fiction in the story twist which I won't reveal to you.
A very exciting series with lots of action and intrigue, I have now started watching the second season.
Good cast list and location shooting.
I shall rate this series a score of 7/10.
