WEDNESDAY

== CONTAINS SPOILERS! ==

Yesterday, we finished watching Wednesday on Netflix.
We have been watching one episode each day, so not to spoil ourselves and indulge in the whole binge-watching malarkey.
I did not know that the show was going to be a supernatural mystery series, but it worked really well.
The cinematography is beautiful as well, as it was filmed in Bucharest in Romania.
The dance sequence in episode 4 was brilliant, and all shows should have a decent musical number in them.
All the actors did a decent job in their roles except in my opinion,
I thought that Luis Guzmán as Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia were very disappointing as their characters. I much preferred the 1991 actors as the parents.
Uncle Fester was a delight in his only one appearance, I hope to see him again in season 2.
Gwendoline Christie as the Principle was a stunner, but it was a shame she kicked the bucket in the end, or did she?
The characters of Thing and Enid were wonderful.
Jenna Ortega was a delight as the title character of Wednesday.
She did an excellent job for someone who is so young.
I love how Jenny as Wednesday does not blink in her role, she also learned how to play the cello, she took fencing, archery, canoeing, German and boxing lessons to prep for her role.
Now that is awesome!
Now expect people next year to cosplay as the characters at Halloween!
I will rate this series a score of 10/10.
