WARRIOR WOMAN

Scáthach was a figure in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology.
She was a legendary Scottish warrior woman and martial arts teacher who trained the legendary Ulster hero Cú Chulainn in the art of combat.
She lived in Dunscaith Castle, which is now a ruin on the coast of the Isle of Skye, in the north-west of Scotland. Also called "Fortress of Shadows", it was named after the warrior maiden.
