SNAKE EYES: G.I. JOE ORIGINS

We watched "Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins" earlier on Amazon Prime.
And oh my days, It stank to high heaven!
In the comic books and animated shows, Snake Eyes is shown to be Caucasian with an athletic build, blonde hair, and blue eyes but in this movie, to please the woke generation, his background, motivation and ethnicity was completly changed.
Henry Golding as Snake Eyes did not bring anything to the role and he is not a decent martial artist.
They chose to ignore everything about the character, including the fact that Snake Eyes is a mute, and he only received his famous costume until the very last minute.
He was portrayed as a thug who worked for the Yakuza and he had no honour as a hero, but in fact it is Storm Shadow, his clan brother and future enemy that was good and honorable.
Having the "G. I. Joe" template dragged down over this movie was it to sell to a wider audience. Scalet from G.I. Joe and the Baroness from Cobra was pointless casting and just there to link this film to the G.I. Joe universe.
The original two G.I. Joe movies were far better to watch and I will watch them again. But I doubt that I will ever watch "Snake Eyes: G. I. Joe Origins" a second time.
I only rate this film a score of 4/10.
The writing, direction, and acting was pants. but the Ninja action earned it the 4 points.
