A daring adventurer named Lars comes to Earth from Mars to investigate an H-bomb detonation.
His peace-keeping mission takes an unexpected turn when he is "discovered" by a TV producer.
When he isn't filming on the set of his 'Lars of Mars' TV series, Lars battled the forces of evil on Earth, using his "super-intelligence, and advanced scientific, crime-fighting gadgets."
Which included a multi-function ray-gun, rocket motor pack, and telescopic viewer goggles. Lars also possessed telepathic abilities that allowed him to instantly understand any language.
Lar's penthouse suite was equipped with a communication center that he used to contact his home planet. He was ordered not to return to Mars "until all evil is banished from Earth!"
With only two published issues, I doubt that Lars was able to complete the mission.
